Dr. Julie Caron

Orthondontist

Dr. Caron graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry of Laval University in 2000. She then spent a year practicing as a general dentist in Sept-Iles, on Amerindian reserves in northern Quebec and in Schefferville. In 2004 she completed both her specialty in Orthodontics as well as her Masters in Dental Sciences. She has been practicing orthodontics at Centre Dentaire Anjou since the start of her career in 2004 and became co owner of the clinic in 2008. Her kindness, honesty and compassion are reflected in her entire practice. Thousands of people have entrusted Dr. Caron and her team for their orthodontic needs. Dr. Jean Poirier

Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon
Dr Jean Poirier obtained his dental degree from the University of Montreal in 1984. He then practiced with the Canadian Armed Forces, most notably with the United Nations in Cyprus, before going into private practice. In 1995 he graduated from Laval University as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and at the same time he obtained the title of Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He then pursued an additional year of training in maxillofacial reconstruction in Montreal, Miami, New York and Toronto. He has been on the executive of the Quebec Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon Association since 1999 and was president from 2013 to 2016. He was also on the executive of the Canadian Dental Association from 2008 to 2012. Dr. Poirier has been in clinical practice as an oral and maxillofacial surgeon at Centre Dentaire Anjou since 2005 and also holds a position at the Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital. He is assistant professor in oral and maxillofacial surgery in the surgical department, ENT division of the faculty of Medicine of University of Montreal. In order to maintain a high standard of excellence and offer the best possible treatments to his patients Dr. Poirier keeps himself updated on the latest developments of his profession. He sits on numerous committees of experts for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is often solicited to give conferences or to act as an expert for the professional liability insurance fund of the Order of Dentists of Quebec.

Dr. Mélanie Campese

Periodontist

Dr. Melanie Campese received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Montreal in 2006 with high honors. In 2010 she completed a three-year full time post-doctoral periodontology specialty program at the Boston University School of Dental Medicine in the United States. This program included a one-year research project that lead to a master thesis in oral biology and periodontology and it was then followed by a two-year intensive course in periodontics and implant dentistry. Since her return to Montreal in 2010, Dr. Campese has not only maintained a private periodontal practice but she is also a part time clinical teacher at the undergraduate dental student level at both McGill University and at the University of Montreal.

Dr. Nancy Boisvert

Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon

Dr. Boisvert obtained her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from McGill University in 2003.
She continued on to complete a multidisciplinary residency program at Laval University. In 2009 she obtained her specialty degree in maxillofacial surgery as well as a Master of Dental Sciences in tissue engineering at the laboratory LOEX (laboratoire d’organogénèse expérimentale) affiliated with Laval University in Quebec.

Following the reception of these two degrees, she obtained the title of Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. She is an active member of both the Quebec Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon Association as well as the Canadian Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon Association.

In 2009 Dr. Boisvert began practicing at Centre Dentaire Anjou. At the same time, she started the department of oral and maxillofacial surgery at Hôtel-Dieu Hospital in Sorel-Tracy. A native of the region, she also performs minor surgery in a private clinic in the area.

Dr. Boisvert’s humanistic approach to her patients both comforts and reassures them during the specialized surgical procedures that she carries out.
Dr. Boisvert also has the expertise in conscious sedation for those patients who require it.

Dr. Anne-frédérique chouinard

Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon

 

After receiving her doctor of dental medicine degree from Université Laval in 2009, Dr. Chouinard completed a multidisciplinary dental residency at the Montreal Children’s Hospital. She then continued her training with an oral and maxillofacial surgery residency with a combined master’s degree at Université Laval (2010-2015).

 

Dr. Chouinard is returning to Montreal after a year of fellowship in pediatric maxillofacial surgery at the prestigious Harvard University, Massachusetts General Hospital. Even though she has a strong interest in pediatric and orthognathic surgeries, Dr. Chouinard expertise extends to all oral and maxillofacial fields.

 

In the recent years, she published a number of publications and gained good clinical common sense and technical skills recognized by her peers.

 

Dr. Matthew Miller

Endodontist

Dr. Miller received his Doctorate in Dental Medicine degree from McGill University in 2007. Subsequently, he completed a two-year multidisciplinary residency program at the Jewish General Hospital before obtaining his specialty degree in Endodontics from Nova Southeastern University, Florida in 2012. Besides having private practices in the West Island and in St-Leonard, Dr. Miller is on staff at both McGill University and the Jewish General Hospital as a clinical instructor. Additionally, he is an adjunct clinical instructor in the Post Graduate Endodontic department at Nova Southeastern University.

Dr. Jeremy Werbitt

Periodontist

Dr. Jeremy Werbitt, obtained his Doctorate in Dental Medicine from McGill University’s Faculty of Dentistry in 2007. He then went on to complete a three-year postdoctoral program in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry at the University of Pennsylvania in 2010. He is a specialist in the treatment of periodontal disease, dental implantology, and regeneration of the teeth’s supporting tissues – the gums and underlying bone.
Dr. Jeremy Werbitt has been in clinical practice since 2010. He is an associate clinical professor in periodontics at McGill University and at the Jewish General Hospital general practice residency. As a dental student he was president of the Alpha Omega dental fraternity student chapter and as a resident he was ambassador to the American Academy of Periodontology Foundation.

Dr. Annie-Claude Lussier Morin

Pediatric dentist

Dr. Lussier-Morin graduated from the University of Montreal in 2007 with a Doctorate in Dental Medicine and in 2010 with a Masters in Pediatric Dentistry. In addition to her private practice in St-Jérôme, she is a member of our team of pediatric dentists that treat children under general anesthesia at Centre Dentaire Anjou.

Dr. Caroline Quach

Pediatric dentist

Dr. Quach graduated from the University of Montreal in 2008 with a Doctorate in Dental Medicine and in 2011 with a Masters in Pediatric Dentistry. She then begun to spread her passion for pediatric dentistry. She holds a teaching position at the faculty of dentistry and gives conferences both locally and worldwide. Dr. Josée Bellefleur

Pediatric dentist

Dr. Bellefleur graduated from University de Montréal in 1992 with a Doctorate in Dental Medicine and in 1994 with a Masters in Pediatric Dentistry. Between 1992 and 1994, she continued her studies in Pediatric Dentistry as a resident at Ste-Justine’s Hospital. Since 1994 she has been practicing at the Pierrefonds Children’s Dental Centre and treating children under general anesthesia at Centre Dentaire Anjou. She is very experienced and over the years she has treated more than 2000 children under general anesthesia.

Dr. SARAH-ÈVE DUMAIS PELLETIER

Pediatric dentist

Dr. Sarah-Ève Dumais Pelletier graduated from the University of Laval with a doctorate in dental medicine in 2012. She continued on to complete a 1 year multidisciplinary residency at The Hospital for Sick Kids in Toronto. She received her Masters in Pediatric Dentistry in 2016 from the University of Montreal following which she completed with a one year training program at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne, Australia. Since returning to Québec, not only has she has been in private practice in the Montreal area, but she is also an associate professor at the University of Montreal.

Dr. Luc Tremblay

Dr. Tremblay obtained his Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the University of Montreal in 1992. He continued on to complete a multidisciplinary residency program at the Jewish General Hospital where he perfected his knowledge. Dr. Tremblay joined the team at Centre Dentaire Anjou in 1994 as a general dentist. He has been co-owner of the clinic since 2008. Dr. Tremblay is very well liked and appreciated by his patients for his professionalism, attention to detail and his gentleness.

Dr. Elaine Nussbaum

Dr. Elaine Nussbaum graduated from the dental faculty of McGill University in 1984 with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Since 1985, she has maintained a private family practice at Centre Dentaire Anjou with a very loyal clientele. She is much loved by her patients for her kindness, gentleness, patience and professionalism. Dr. Nussbaum is a very attentive dentist who always gives her clients the best possible care.

Dr. Voula Genovezos

Dr. Genovezos graduated from the dental faculty of McGill University in 1991 with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery. She has been in private practice at Centre Dentaire Anjou since 1993. Throughout the years Dr. Genovezos has succeeded in treating very anxious patients through her gentleness and compassion. Thanks to these qualities and her extensive availability she is very well liked and appreciated by her patients.

Dr. Gilbert Thellend Gauthier

Dr. Gauthier Thellend graduated with a Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the University of Montreal in 2014. In recognition of his excellent academic achievements he was the first Canadian student to be nominated by the American Dental Education Association for an award. He received first prize from the American College of Prosthodontics. He continued his education completing a multidisciplinary residency at the Jewish General Hospital and has held a clinical teaching position there since 2016. In 2017 he received the ”outstanding clinical teaching”, prize which is given by the students.
Dr. Gauthier Thellend joined Centre Dentaire Anjou in September 2016 where he practices family dentistry. He is passionate about his work and is very attentive to the needs of his patients. He continually strives to perfect his techniques in order to offer his patients the best care possible.

Dr. Samuel Goupil Lévesque

Dr. Lévesque obtained his Doctorate in Dental Medicine from University of Montreal in 2014. Due to his high academic achievements he received distinction from the Academy of Implant Dentistry. He continued to complete a multidisciplinary residency at the Jewish General Hospital. Since 2016 he has been a clinician at both the residency program at the Jewish General Hospital and at the University of Montreal. Dr. Lévesque enjoys sharing his knowledge, expertise and passion with the dentistry students.
Dr. Lévesque Goupil joined the team of general dentist at the Centre Dentaire Anjou in May 2016 where he practices family dentistry. He strives to give his patients the best oral health care possible. He is appreciated for his professionalism, gentle care and perfection of his work.

Dr. Colette Leb

Dr. Colette Leb graduated from the dental faculty of McGill University in 1989 with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery and then completed a multidisciplinary residency at the Jewish General Hospital. She then served as faculty lecturer at McGill University for 17 years. Her love of children led her to join Centre Dentaire Anjou, where since 1990 she has been providing dental health care for young patients. The professional accomplishment of which she is most proud is her ability to provide a positive dental experience for young children. Her gentle and caring approach combined with her vast experience have earned her the respect of her patients and their families alike.
